    All for the Kids

    Last updated 7 months ago

Community Bank of Florida's Deposit Operations Representative Jaime Ramos has met his goal! For months he has been fundraising - holding bake sales, car washes and writing letters asking for donations. He finally reached his $2,300 goal in order to purchase 100 book bags for 6-8th graders from local middle schools, including Campbell Drive, Homestead and Leisure City, as well as kids from Chapman Partnership Homeless Center. Jaime wanted to make sure the book bags were full of supplies so he called his friends from the Homestead Junior Woman's Club, who were glad to fill the bags with folders, paper, pencils, pens and rulers. Enthusiastic about helping others, Jaime said, "It couldn't have been done without everyone's support. Thank you to the bank employees, the Juniors and all the car wash and bake sale customers!"

Lisa Greer Celebrates Her 10th Anniversary!

    Last updated 8 months ago

Community Bank of Florida is proud to celebrate Lisa Greer’s 10th Anniversary as a member of our Financial Family. Mrs. Greer is a First Vice President in the Commercial Loan Department. She spends the majority of her work day assisting current loan customers and looking for opportunities to help business owners grow through small business loans. A seasoned banker, Lisa has over 30 years of experience. Most of her time has been focused in the commercial lending area, but she also worked in financial center management and human resources.

Lisa was born in Massachusetts and resides in the Redland with her husband Karl. Aside from spending time with family and raising three children, Lisa has concentrated on volunteering in the business community. She is the Treasurer and Past Chairman of the Economic Development Council of South Miami Dade, which she has been a board member of for ten years. She recently began participating in their Small Business Training program, serving as an instructor for one of the courses. Lisa has also been involved in the local chapter of the Florida Nursery Growers and Landscapers Association (FNGLA), serving as Treasurer since 2004.  In 2009, she had the honor of being awarded “Chapter Treasurer of the Year,” by the State FNGLA office. Another organization she has supported since 2005 is the Chamber South Military Affairs Committee, of which she is a past Chairman and current Secretary.

Lisa is driven to help business owners and give back to the community. When asked about what motivates her, Lisa quoted Ralph Waldo Emerson, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
