Community Bank of Florida is pleased to partner with Community Health of South Florida Inc (CHI) and Chicks N Wings Restaurant to sponsor their second annual “Hope 4 L.Y.F.E 3K- 5K Walk/Run.”
The Hope 4 L.Y.F.E event was created by Chicks N Wings owner, Angela Roberts, in response to a breast cancer scare. Angela decided prevention was the best medicine and contacted Romanita Ford at CHI to join forces and put together a fundraiser. Their first event raised well over $10,000, providing medical check-ups as well as mammograms to women in our community.
We hope you will join our team of ‘runners’ participating at the event. It will be held at 8am on Saturday, October 20th at the Homestead Air Reserve Park, located at 27401 SW 127th Avenue. You can register the day of the event, just show up between 6:30am and 7:30 am. The cost is $25 per runner, or $100 for a team of 5. Vendor booths and sponsorships are also available. Please contact Romanita Ford at (305) 252-4853 or via email at rford@chisouthfl.org
