    Joann Bower Celebrates 5th Anniversary with Community Bank of Florida

    Community Bank of Florida is proud to celebrate Joann Bower’s 5th Anniversary as a member of their Financial Family. Ms. Bower is the Customer Service Associate Supervisor of the Community Centre Office, located at 2804 SE 8th Street in Homestead. Her main job duties include operating and training the teller area.

    Joann was born in Miami, Florida and currently resides in Homestead with her daughter.

    She has completed a Bank Specialization Diploma and is currently working toward a Bank Operations and Branch Manager Diploma at Miami Dade College. In her free time, Joann enjoys spending time with her family, arts and crafts and capturing memories on camera. She also enjoys volunteering in her church’s activities and feeding the less fortunate.

     

    Excited about her anniversary, Joann stated, “Community Bank has helped me grow and fulfill my potential by allowing me to serve our customers and community.”


    Beverly Ivester Celebrates 5th Anniversary

    Community Bank of Florida is proud to celebrate Beverly Ivester’s 5th Anniversary as a member of their Financial Family. Mrs. Ivester is the Collateral Review Coordinator in the Credit Risk Department. Her main job duties include reviewing and verifying insurance on collateral property.

     

    Beverly was born in Miami, Florida and currently resides in Homestead. She graduated from Miami Edison Sr. High School and attended Florida State University, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She previously served as an officer in both the Redland Elementary and Redland Junior High School PTAs and also worked on the committee to restore and remodel Redland Junior High School. In her free time, Beverly enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as golf and gardening.

     

    Excited about her anniversary, Beverly stated, “Community Bank of Florida is a cornerstone of the South Dade Community. I am proud to be able to say that I work here.”

    CBF Supports South Dade High JROTC

    Community Bank of Florida was pleased to make a donation to help the South Dade Senior High School JROTC recognize the hard work of their cadets.

     

    The South Dade Senior High JROTC Program (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) is a program designed to help build discipline, responsibility, courage and most of all, leadership.  The mission in JROTC is to motivate young people to be better citizens.  The program strives to help cadets graduate and be successful in their life after high school, whether success leads them to college or into the corporate world.

    Teri Botti Celebrates 5th Anniversary

    Community Bank of Florida is proud to celebrate Theresa Botti’s 5th Anniversary as a member of their Financial Family. Mrs. Botti is currently the Senior Accounting Representative in the bank’s Accounting Department. Her main job duties include supervision of the department and preparing financials.

     

    Mrs. Botti was born in Miami and currently resides there with her son. She enjoys attending his hockey games and recently received her Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Miami Dade College.

     

    Excited about her anniversary, Teri stated, “Community Bank is a great place to work. We treat each other more like family than co-workers, and that makes a huge difference in my quality of life.”

    CBF supports enFAMILIA Art & Family Learning Center

    Community Bank of Florida was pleased to partner with enFAMILIA, Inc. Art and Family Learning Center to help sponsor their 9th annual Art-In-Action Summer Camp.   Providing art activities for over 100 middle and high school students, the camp is designed to recognize and foster talent in children by providing avenues of self-expression and stimulating thoughts about issues of social impact.

     

    The camp encompasses a diverse and intensive curriculum of Music, Dance, Poetry, Visual Arts, Drama, Film and Photography taught by members of A.S.T.E.P. (Artists Striving To End Poverty). This group of volunteers is made up of professional artists who have graduated or are currently attending universities throughout the United States including; The Juilliard School, the University of Miami and New York University. The three week program culminates with two roof-raising performances created by students assisted by their volunteer teachers.
