Community Bank of Florida is proud to celebrate Jacob Sevilla’s 5th Anniversary as a member of their Financial Family. In addition, we are proud to announce he has taken an opportunity in the Accounting Department as an Accounting Representative.
Mr. Sevilla has become a well rounded bank employee, with previous experience on the front line serving as a teller and opening accounts. For the past two years, he has been a part of the Electronic Banking Department team, where he provided customer service for online banking services and assisted customers in processing and investigating debit card fraud cases. His move to the accounting department is in line with his career goals, as he is on track to complete his Associate’s Degree in Business Administration next semester and plans to transfer to Florida International University to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
Jacob was born in Honduras and relocated to the South Florida area at a very young age. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, reading, watching comedies with his wife and being involved with the youth of his church, Alpha and Omega. When asked what inspires him, Jacob quoted Bill Gates, “It is fine to celebrate success but it’s more important to heed the lessons of failure.”

Community Bank of Florida is pleased to support Chapman Elementary’s fifth grade “End of the Year Celebration.” The donation helps underprivileged students have the opportunity to attend the event and celebrate their school year accomplishments. Grateful for the donation, Principal Morris stated, “Community Bank of Florida is a valued partner and without business and community partners, it would be impossible to see our vision reach fruition.”

Jaime Ramos recently filled in for Dr. Hunter at Leisure City K-8. The Principal For A Day experience made Jaime feel that "middle school children are the most important generation we are raising today. In speaking with the teachers and administrators at Leisure City, I found the majority of them go the extra mile and spend their own money trying to bring a positive and energetic approach to teaching so that the kids can learn and remember what they learned throughout their lifetime. I now have a different perspective and greater respect for the teachers in our schools. We must do more to help them in teaching the kids."
