    "Where WILL Your Money Go?"

    Last updated 1 year ago

Community Bank of Florida’s Golden Circle recently organized a complimentary “Wills & Trusts” seminar for members and guests. The event was held in Haines City, at the R Place Eatery. After spending time visiting, guests enjoyed dessert and coffee while they listened to local attorney, Patrick Smith. Mr. Smith discussed the options and benefits of having a Will versus a Trust. According to Mr. Smith, if you have $75,000 or more worth of inheritance, you should consult with an attorney on your options. Stay tuned for more Golden Circle events in Polk County!

Held at the beautiful Palmetto Bay Village Center, this event offers delicious food from local restaurants, plus entertainment for the whole family, including a petting zoo, car show, live music, belly dancing and arts and crafts.

Gary Butler, the Perrine Financial Center Manager, was leading his staff at the business expo and was thrilled at the turnout.  Gary stated, "There were hundreds of people who attended the event, and it was great to visit with them. We were very excited that many of the attendees had financial needs we were able to help them with." At the end of the day, the team raffled off a beautiful gift basket full of prizes. Congratulations to Mr. Vince Bruseia of Zoom Groom who won the basket!

Community Bank of Florida employees were pleased to attend the Dade County Farm Bureau’s 2013 Women in Agriculture Luncheon. This year, the Farm Bureau Women’s Committee honored Margie Buster and Carolyn DeMott, who are partners in the family business, Alpha Foliage. In addition to their passion for working in the nursery, these ladies are successful in other ventures. Carolyn started a thriving accounting firm, which she has handed down to her children. Margie runs the nonprofit organization she created in 1995, Redland Tropical Gardens with a mission of preserving agriculture. Congratulations to these outstanding female role models!
