CBF is proud to announce another long term anniversary- Cindy Kendall has just reached her 20 year milestone! Cindy is an Assistant Vice President and the bank’s Director of Marketing. She’s been in the banking profession for over 33 years, with experience outside of marketing, including customer service and accounting.
Cindy is well known around the bank for her love of baking and can always be counted on to help out at employee bake sale fundraisers. She also enjoys volunteering in the community and has served several non-profit organizations, including the South Dade American Red Cross Ball Committee. For most of the ten years she spent on the committee, Cindy co-chaired the event. In 2010, the Red Cross thanked her for her efforts by honoring her with the Barbara Nelson Service Award during the Sara Hopkins Spectrum Awards Ceremony. In 2012, Cindy became aware of a tragic swimming accident that claimed the life of a 12 year old Homestead girl named Jenny Nguyen. She felt passionate about the cause and immediately volunteered to help the Swim for Jenny Memorial Fund. She is now the chair of the Homestead Swim for Jenny Gala committee, which raises money to provide swimming lessons for local children.
When asked how she feels about two decades of working at CBF, Cindy responded, “I can’t imagine working anywhere else. I appreciate the bank’s dedication to civic involvement because it’s given me many opportunities to help others. I am proud of the investments that have been made in the communities we serve and I look forward to helping the markets we serve grow and succeed.”
