CBF is pleased to announce Jaime Ramos has received his Banking Specialist Diploma through the Center for Financial Training at Miami Dade College. Mr. Ramos currently works in the Deposit Operations Department and has been a part of the financial family for nine years. He began his career at the bank as a loan processor and gained experience within the Special Assets Department before he moved to Deposit Operations. For the last five years he has handled the coordination of remote capture machines and has specialized in charge offs and recoveries.
In addition to his recent diploma, Jaime holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Miami Dade College. His goal is to continue developing his banking expertise by earning a diploma in credit analysis and a degree in finance, so that in the future he can become a loan officer. Jamie was born in Miami and currently resides in Homestead. He is proud of his Mexican American heritage and gives back every year by fundraising to purchase book bags and school supplies for local middle school aged migrant children. In his free time he enjoys playing musical instruments including the guitar, keyboard and drums. He is an excellent bartender and is often seen serving refreshments at Community Bank parties.
Mr. Ramos states, “As a bank and society, we struggle to recover from the recent economic recession, but we should look at this as an opportunity. This is a chance to enter a new future and provide our customers with not only excellent customer service and products but financial education and stability for the future. I am proud to work at a place that embraces a traditional “family” atmosphere that reflects onto our customers.”
