Community Bank of Florida was pleased to make a donation to the Mexican American Council in the amount of $1500. This money supported the Cinco de Mayo Festival that was recently held in Homestead.
The Mexican American Council is a cultural and educational organization composed of Hispanics, former farm-workers, and interested community leaders. It strives to promote Mexican American cultural awareness to residents of Dade County and ensure that every migrant child entering kindergarten completes high school. Its programs include education and community development. The Mexican American Council also provides emergency services to residents of South Dade County.
